Telaritos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Punua the free kick. After 3 played minutes Telaritos got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Franco. Ismael Incendio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Evelio Gurutz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Ignado. Punua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ubaldo Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Lluis in the 12th minute of play. Rogelio Jerrald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Ignado.
