In the 4th minute, Donato Lordi made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Faron. Santa Fe United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th match minute, la lomafc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Krafzig in the 12th minute of play forced la lomafc's goalkeeper Silvestre Silbestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Santa Fe United's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Florin came free, but Eusebio Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Fe United's Eusebio Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Peyo in the 20th minute of play. Donato Lordi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Faron having to make a save. Silvestre Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, la lomafc's Silvestre Silbestre got control of the ball when Laureano Olayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eusebio Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Florin in the 31st minute of play. Silvestre Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Krafzig, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Laureano Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Silvestre Silbestre made a huge save. Carlos Ayala hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Gervasio Nuñez, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Laureano Olayo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Silvestre Silbestre to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Fe United's goalkeeper Eusebio Faron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Krafzig to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Laureano Olayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Fe United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 58 played minutes la lomafc got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Florin. In the 60th minute of the match Gregorio Peyo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Faron skillfully saved the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Santa Fe United's Axel Krafzig made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Silbestre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusebio Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Lordi in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Santa Fe United's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Lordi came free, but Eusebio Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Santa Fe United's Mauro Arano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Silbestre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 84 minutes into the game, Axel Krafzig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Silvestre Silbestre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, la lomafc's Carlos Ayala got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Santa Fe United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
