After a rather tough play, Chamical's Eduardo Vincent got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bernardino Sanduru hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Albino Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vladimiro Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gavino Tipi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Lobo in the 16th minute of the match. Gavino Tipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Lobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute of the match Chamical got a corner. Elertondo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Vincent ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eduardo Vincent made a great header on Chamical's corner, it was just that Elertondo FC's Gavino Tipi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 29th minute, Federico Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Elertondo FC's Fernando Larpe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 32nd match minute, Elertondo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Vito to maneuver through the defense. Albino Lobo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gavino Tipi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chamical. A collision led to Chamical getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adan Barea hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Albino Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Larpe's late challenge caught a Chamical's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Larpe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chamical booed when Elertondo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Larpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gavino Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Sabin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chamical's Adan Karlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Sabin in the 56th minute of play. Adan Karlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Sabin in the 58th minute of the match. If Vladimiro Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Elertondo FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bernardino Sanduru hit a great ball. Albino Lobo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Chamical's Eduardo Vincent tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Fonda in the 83rd minute of play forced Elertondo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Chamical's Albino Lobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Tipi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Vincent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Sabin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
