Victor Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Platon in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes CABJ got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Furman. In the 11th minute, Isidoro Dabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gaston Tercero fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuchi FC's protests and gave Gaston Tercero a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Chuchi FC defense, Ernesto Chan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Min. The Chuchi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Min should have stopped the shot. Victor Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Platon in the 28th minute of play. Isidoro Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Victor Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Ernesto Chan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Min. Chuchi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Chan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Chuchi FC's Godofredo Gaskon got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Humberto Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Fidencio in the 44th minute of play. Eduardo Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Platon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victor Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Dabi in the 55th minute of play. Isidoro Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Victor Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernesto Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Min having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Dabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Transito was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CABJ's Anibal Ponce got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Isidoro Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chuchi FC booed when CABJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Dabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ernesto Chan came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the CABJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Chan couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Transito having to interfere.
