In the 21st minute of the match, Nicanor Ishmael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgard Ihintza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Ishmael couldn't finish the play. Edgard Ihintza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Ihintza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Nazario took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Ihintza. Edgard Ihintza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 95 played minutes Trelew got a freekick which was hit by Omar Miliano. When the referee ended the match the Trelew players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
