The Makallé fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Honorato Lauren fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Makallé's protests and gave Honorato Lauren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Makallé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Lauren to maneuver through the defense. If Silvio Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Bartoleme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Paolo Baumar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes La Plata Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Loco. After 37 minutes, Ramon Mambru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Makallé and the La Plata Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramon Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Tomas Millano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Plata Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Makallé the free kick. Tomas Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Honorato Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Oscar Bartoleme made the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Bartoleme scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Baumar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of La Plata Fútbol Club booed when Makallé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Ramiro Casomiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Plata Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Casomiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Octavio Menendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Baumar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Casomiro's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Paolo Baumar came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Plata Fútbol Club's Ramiro Casomiro. But to his dismay, Ramiro Casomiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ramiro Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Ramiro Casomiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Makallé's goalkeeper Paolo Baumar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Lekubegi during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Makallé getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Santiago Lekubegi hit a great ball. Octavio Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Baumar having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Silvio Matei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Steven was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 94 minutes of play, Makallé's Silvio Matei made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Steven was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Makallé players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Plata Fútbol Club.
