A collision led to El Hombre Tinta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Primitivo Valente hit a great ball. When Club Atlético Dime's Nereo Pierres in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Hombre Tinta's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Dime's goalkeeper Pastor Beremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Pelayo. Pastor Beremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Frisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Pierres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Beremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Evelio Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Pierres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fausto Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 30 minutes on the clock, Angelino Berdaitz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Pastor Beremundo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pastor Abreu. In the 35th minute Edelmiro Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Beremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Sanchez went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Beremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Club Atlético Dime's Pastor Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Basajaun in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The El Hombre Tinta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Evelio Blancos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Fausto Honesto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pastor Beremundo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Basajaun went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Pelayo in the 92nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Dime's goalkeeper Pastor Beremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Sanchez in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Edelmiro Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Hombre Tinta had played much better football throughout.
