In the 87th minute Carlos Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Dolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Honesto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Pelayo in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Dolfo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Racing Club de Avellaneda's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because El Hombre Tinta had won, even though Racing Club de Avellaneda had held more of the ball.
