The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Matias Pero came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pujol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Pero couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, Pujol FC's goalkeeper David Quinten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Selmo. Matias Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Pirmin having to interfere. Matias Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Enrique Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pujol FC's Domingo Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ospetsu in the 23rd minute of play. Enrique Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Brun in the 27th minute of the match. Elias Rufo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Rufo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elias Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. David Quinten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Selmo in the 33rd minute. Matias Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Christophersen AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dante Nuno hit a great ball. Pujol FC were furious when Octavio Frichoso was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, David Quinten, was totally fooled by Christophersen AFC's Teodoro Isias, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Christophersen AFC's Enrique Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Kusko in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Christophersen AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonardo Maties was slow to take the kick. During this time Pujol FC's players had a chance to rest. Leonardo Maties made a great header on Pujol FC's corner, it was just that Christophersen AFC's Enrique Pirmin managed to reach the ball for a save. Pujol FC's David Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Selmo in the 63rd minute of play. David Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 81st minute Matias Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Selmo in the 82nd minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Christophersen AFC's Matias Selmo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Quinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute, Matias Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Isias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Quinten. Pujol FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christophersen AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
