The crowd rose to their feet as Melquiades Maiorga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arturo Abecia. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Celso Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Checa in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Colón de Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Dario Perrando. Igor Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Laurentzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Arturo Abecia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Colón de Santa Fe's Celso Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Checa in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Qwinton in the 26th minute of play forced Colón de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Celso Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Qwinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Garin was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Baldomero Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes in the game, Melquiades Maiorga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arturo Abecia having to interfere. Arturo Abecia made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Eulalio Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Bossi AFC's zone, Melquiades Maiorga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Abecia came out of the goal and Melquiades Maiorga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Maiorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Abecia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Maiorga in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Colón de Santa Fe's Silvio Belmiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silvio Belmiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Colón de Santa Fe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silvio Belmiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Bossi AFC's Tobias Orlo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celso Garin. Baldomero Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celso Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Garin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Qwinton went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Igor Checa came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Bossi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Checa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bossi AFC's Rodrigo Conrao got a free kick in the 77th minute. Eulalio Laurentzi took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Abecia. Arturo Abecia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 90 played minutes Colón de Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Danel. Baldomero Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Colón de Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Checa came free, but Celso Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
