After 21 played minutes Pujol FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Pero. Esteban Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Ezequiel Kusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Dolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Matias Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Esteban Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Cordarius came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Quinten could save by the left post. Sebastian Iratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but David Quinten made a huge save. Javier Cordariuss short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got David Quinten to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Cordarius was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Matias Pero made a precise shot to the right of Esteban Dolfo. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Matias Pero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Javier Cordarius scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Quinten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pujol FC's David Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Salomon in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Maximiliano Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club de Avellaneda's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Salomon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
