Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaspar Teodor started the match with the kick off. When Hugo Lore fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacanas FC's protests and gave Hugo Lore a yellow card for diving instead. Pastor Abreu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Edelmiro Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Pelayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, El Hombre Tinta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Basajaun to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Honesto came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Tacanas FC's Gaspar Teodor. But to his dismay, Gaspar Teodor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 37th minute of the match Saverio Maidana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Honesto skillfully saved the ball. After 40 minutes, Niceto Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Hombre Tinta and the Tacanas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tacanas FC booed when El Hombre Tinta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Amor during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roque Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Pelayo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Carlos Pelayo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tacanas FC's Bernardino Dayam tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Carlos Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Hombre Tinta's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Pelayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute of the match Primitivo Valente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Dayam showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Carlos Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the El Hombre Tinta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Pelayo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Teodor in the 88th minute of play forced El Hombre Tinta's goalkeeper Fausto Honesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Hombre Tinta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
