Club Atlético Dime's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ezequiel Kusko struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. David Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Domingo Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Beremundo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Quin during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Club Atlético Dime got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Quin. Nereo Pierres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Brun's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Dime's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Brun helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Brun hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Nereo Pierres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Dime's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Pierres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
