The Tormenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Fernandes should have stopped the shot. In the 24th match minute, Tormenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Chinguillos AFC's Hilario Froila got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leonel Fernandes. After having played for 37 minutes, Hector Dolcet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Guaberto Feliu fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinguillos AFC's protests and gave Guaberto Feliu a yellow card for diving instead. Guaberto Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
