Robinson Hernández made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Froila in the 4th minute. If Freddy Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute, Chinguillos AFC's Hector Dolcet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Retamal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Pagomari to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Retamal's zone, Hector Dolcet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinson Hernández came out of the goal and Hector Dolcet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Salvador Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Eufrasio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Guerau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Retamal's zone, Hector Dolcet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinson Hernández came out of the goal and Hector Dolcet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hilario Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moises Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Retamal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Caitano couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Guerau came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Retamal's Luciano Eufrasio. But to his dismay, Luciano Eufrasio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Retamal's Robinson Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Retamal from getting a goal against them. Hilario Froila was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Hilario Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Guerau having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Froila to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Chinguillos AFC's Hilario Froila made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robinson Hernández was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robinson Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hector Dolcet might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robinson Hernández. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Dolcet ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64 minutes, Salvador Ibañez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retamal and the Chinguillos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Retamal's Salvador Ibañez got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hilario Froila scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinson Hernández, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Retamal's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Dolcet came free, but Robinson Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinson Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Froila in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Hector Dolcet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Freddy Vincente came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Chinguillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Vincente couldn't finish the play. If Moises Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Chinguillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Vincente to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Chinguillos AFC's zone, Salvador Ibañez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Guerau came out of the goal and Salvador Ibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Retamal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chinguillos AFC.
