Godfredo Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Matthew in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Donzel in the 10th minute of play forced juiiiiiraa's goalkeeper Romeo Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Leo Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Balendin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Juan Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Leo Caetano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cayetano Rius struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Romeo Ostargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los gorgonitos. If Cayetano Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Godofredo Ostots hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Caetano got free with Godfredo Balendin in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Matthew stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Ostots during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
