Cleto Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tibalt having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Maderas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Gaitan came free, but Ismael Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Roman Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Maderas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Laffitte came free, but Ismael Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Laffitte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute Lázaro Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faustino Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Joey in the 66th minute of play. Ildefonso Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Lázaro Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Jobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Jobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Laffitte in the 89th minute of the match. If Faustino Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
