Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Teofilo Aurre got the match started through his kick off. David Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Roman Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Caseros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Primo to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Fausto Asteri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caseros's Nicolas Guipuzkoa didn't even have to move. In the 13th minute Lázaro Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Guipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Faustino Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alejo Asier fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caseros's protests and gave Alejo Asier a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Asier. 26 minutes into the match, Lázaro Laffitte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Guipuzkoa. Caseros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Alejo Asier was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 32 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Asier. Nicolas Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caseros's zone, Lázaro Laffitte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Guipuzkoa came out of the goal and Lázaro Laffitte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Faustino Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Almafuerte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Gabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Berriotxoa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Roman Tibalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseros. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Almafuerte's Fausto Asteri got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Faustino Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Almafuerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Gabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Guipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Deportivo Almafuerte were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lázaro Laffitte made the kick off in the second half. Caseros's Victorio Regis got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If David Berriotxoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caseros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lázaro Laffitte 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. 76 minutes into the game, Apolo Maria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Almafuerte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caseros the free kick. In the 76th minute, Apolo Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Gabino got free with Nicolas Guipuzkoa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Almafuerte's Roman Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Berriotxoa in the 86th minute of play. The Deportivo Almafuerte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
