Leandro Leguizamón hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Maximo Pio fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franco Canadiense's protests and gave Maximo Pio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Baltasar Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Canadiense's Benito Edwardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Franco Canadiense from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Vermudo in the 15th minute of play forced Deportivo Yo's goalkeeper Sixto Martxelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Leobardo in the 17th minute of play forced Franco Canadiense's goalkeeper Benito Edwardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Leobardo spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Franco Canadiense's goal. Amadeo Santio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Higinio Leobardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Edwardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Higinio Leobardo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Amadeo Santio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Edwardo. Amadeo Santio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Gutxi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sixto Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Benito Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Yo's zone, Manuel Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Martxelin came out of the goal and Manuel Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Baltasar Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Deportivo Yo's Higinio Leobardo in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Franco Canadiense's goalie prevented a goal. Higinio Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benito Edwardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Loiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Higinio Leobardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Edwardo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Deportivo Yo's Sergio Gutxi got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Higinio Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Yo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Leobardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Yo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
