Justino Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Bartuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When defensivo f.c's Justino Cordeiro in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Varela's goalie prevented a goal. Benedicto Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Isadore having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, defensivo f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Estebano came free, but Enzo Isadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Estebano was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Regis charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Regis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benedicto Estebano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Isadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Benicio Txerran hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, defensivo f.c's Atilano Roland got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes, Atletico Varela's Octavio Distiratsu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enzo Isadore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Varela reached it. If Amado Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Montay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Atilano Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. defensivo f.c were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Atletico Varela to leave the ground with a draw.
