When Virgilio Bastiaro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saavedra Unido's protests and gave Virgilio Bastiaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saavedra Unido's Virgilio Bastiaro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Armando Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Senio having to interfere. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Efrain Macerio sped through Saavedra Unido's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Mincho. 33 minutes into the match, Saavedra Unido's goalkeeper Gustavo Mincho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Macerio. In the 34th minute, Matias Natanael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Natanael, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Iyan got free with Virgilio Senio in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Los pochoclitos's goalkeeper Virgilio Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Gonzales. The corner led Los pochoclitos's Matias Natanael to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Mincho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustavo Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Natanael, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Efrain Macerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Mincho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Macerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Natanael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saavedra Unido's Gustavo Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Macerio in the 88th minute of play. Matias Natanael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Saavedra Unido players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Los pochoclitos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
