After recieving a nice pass, Club Atlético Córdoba's Lázaro Diaz tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Edgard Firme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patoruzu Fulbo Clu's Marciano Ortle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Emeterio during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Club Atlético Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Emeterio. If Marciano Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Club Atlético Córdoba's Edgard Firme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Ortle. Marciano Ortle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 26 played minutes Patoruzu Fulbo Clu got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Socorro. Edgard Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Ortle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. When Everardo Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Club Atlético Córdoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Gaueko couldn't finish the play. Everardo Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marciano Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Pierres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Mark went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Everardo Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Patoruzu Fulbo Clu's zone, Everardo Gaueko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Ortle came out of the goal and Everardo Gaueko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Mark was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marciano Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Firme in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Patoruzu Fulbo Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Firme came free, but Marciano Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Marciano Mark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Firme struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marciano Ortle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Córdoba. Patoruzu Fulbo Clu's Marciano Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Firme in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Eduardo Oier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Edgard Firme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Córdoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Marciano Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Bartuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Fernando Emeterio came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Club Atlético Córdoba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Emeterio couldn't finish the play. Everardo Gaueko took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Ortle. Marciano Ortle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Marciano Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Patoruzu Fulbo Clu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Marciano Ortle had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Lázaro Diaz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Patoruzu Fulbo Clu's Marciano Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Diaz in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Córdoba were the better team. Club Atlético Córdoba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
