After 6 played minutes El Firulete Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Eriz. Anacleto Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Pancho in the 8th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, C.A.TEMPERLEY's Ismael Pancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anacleto Suarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. C.A.TEMPERLEY's Americo Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Xabier in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A.TEMPERLEY's Benicio Stanislao got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.TEMPERLEY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Larra was slow to take the kick. During this time El Firulete Ituzaingó's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on El Firulete Ituzaingó's corner Victor Larra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Americo Aguilera quite easily take care of the ball. Anastasio Ixaka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Americo Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Everardo Xabier came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the El Firulete Ituzaingó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Xabier couldn't finish the play. If Anastasio Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Anacleto Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Ixaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Americo Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Xabier in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Xabier to strike the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Pancho in the 61st minute of the match. Anastasio Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Americo Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes in the game, Everardo Xabier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Americo Aguilera having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ismael Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.TEMPERLEY's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Pancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Suarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ismael Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
