But to his dismay, Pablo Tanio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Los guerreros's Emilio Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Pere in the 56th minute of play. Delmar Pere scored 6-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Macario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Rincón de los sauces F.C's Delmar Pere got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 74 minutes of play, Rincón de los sauces F.C's Rodolfo Maties made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Macario was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82 minutes, Marcelino Ranolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los guerreros and the Rincón de los sauces F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelino Ranolfo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Americo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ulises Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rincón de los sauces F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
