Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nereo Tallia started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Guaraní getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Abelardo Amor hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Ivan Segio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Hulberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niceto Rami during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Niceto Rami kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Baldomiro Lehen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaraní's protests and gave Baldomiro Lehen a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Guaraní got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Lehen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Garin in the 23rd minute of play forced Caucete's goalkeeper Santiago Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Nereo Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guaraní's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niceto Rami was slow to take the kick. During this time Caucete's players had a chance to rest. Caucete's Niceto Rami was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victorio Pero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute, Gaudencio Azubeli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Hulberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Guaraní's Clodoveo Garin in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caucete's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Francisco Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaraní's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Caucete's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clodoveo Garin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adrian Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Caucete's Santiago Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Garin in the 54th minute of play. Santiago Hulberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Garin's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Clodoveo Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Santiago Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Garin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorio Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Tallia, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Caucete's Santiago Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Garin in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Fabio Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Lehen in the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Garin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Hulberto was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Benedicto Hegoi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
