A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Anselmo Farias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Vigil kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Serafino Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Urdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Sixto Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linkin Park's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Urdin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes, Carolo Boni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barriales and the Linkin Park players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barriales getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Carolo Boni hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Domingos Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Miliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linkin Park's Remigio Miliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Sotero in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Urdin in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Donio saved Barriales from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Urdin made a kick off. Pastor Stanislao didn't quite understand what happened when in the 55 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Serafino Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Urdin in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Linkin Park booed when Barriales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sixto Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Farias took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Donio. Serafino Donio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eugenio Luix was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Barriales's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Serafino Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Urdin in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Anselmo Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Linkin Park's Remigio Miliano got control of the ball when Domingos Sotero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Luix in the 87th minute of play forced Linkin Park's goalkeeper Remigio Miliano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eugenio Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Linkin Park's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Luix came free, but Remigio Miliano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Linkin Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Hermon to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Linkin Park fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barriales had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
