Fabio Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Gizon in the 15th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Villada's Dionisio Gizon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabio Ortzi. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Leonardo Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Ortzi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Villada's zone, Anselmo Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Pio came out of the goal and Anselmo Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dionisio Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Gizon in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Ortzi saved Estrella Roja de Lomas from getting behind. Estrella Roja de Lomas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Herrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes, Aldo Dolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrella Roja de Lomas and the Villada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Villada's Bernabe Caradaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Ortzi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Villada had won after a very even match.
