Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaias Bastia kicked off to start the match. Eustacio Jurgi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, Chorrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes of play Franklin FC's Luis Sugoi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luis Sugoi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Eustacio Jurgi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Gitano. Benedicto Gitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rodrigo Roderigo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 22nd minute Isaias Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Benedicto Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Bastia in the 24th minute of the match. When Rodrigo Roderigo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Franklin FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Roderigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Rodrigo Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Gitano came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Chorrillos's Eustacio Jurgi. But to his dismay, Eustacio Jurgi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Isaias Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Gitano having to interfere. Franklin FC's Benedicto Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Bastia in the 54th minute of play. If Isaias Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Frisco. Rodrigo Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chorrillos getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ceferino Frisco hit a great ball. Chorrillos's Eustacio Jurgi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Isaias Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Danilo Udalaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorrillos and the Franklin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danilo Udalaitz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Chorrillos defense, Marcial Boni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Buinton. The Chorrillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Buinton should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Roderigo in the 89th minute of play forced Chorrillos's goalkeeper Jacinto Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Rodrigo Roderigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Buinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Chorrillos played a much better game than Franklin FC and deserved their victory. The Franklin FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
