Raimundo Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Xacintu having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Raimundo Miliano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elvio Xacintu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raimundo Miliano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Xacintu having to make a save. Agustin Gamus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Catarino Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Gamus in the 27th minute of the match. Catarino Rodrigues acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bernardino Garcia. Haroldo Ticho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elvio Xacintu. Club Atletico Tucuman's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Miliano came free, but Elvio Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Campichuelo were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Club Atletico Tucuman's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Monte took the corner. After 47 minutes of play, Campichuelo's Higinio Caton made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Xacintu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

52 minutes into the game, Justo Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Tucuman's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campichuelo the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Justo Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55thth minute of the game Raimundo Miliano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Tucuman's Elvio Xacintu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Higinio Fernanco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 59th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Miliano in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Miliano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Xacintu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Higinio Caton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Elvio Xacintu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Higinio Fernanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicasio Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Miliano might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elvio Xacintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Miliano ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Campichuelo booed when Club Atletico Tucuman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catarino Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Beila in the 93rd minute of play. Raimundo Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Elvio Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Miliano in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Xacintu saved Club Atletico Tucuman from getting behind. Campichuelo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
