Club Atletico Tucuman's Elvio Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Arano in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Coghlan Anarquia defense, Emilio Beila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Marcones. The Club Coghlan Anarquia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Marcones should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Club Coghlan Anarquia's goalkeeper Godfredo Marcones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Beila. Agustin Gamus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Godfredo Marcones came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustin Gamus slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jonas Aimar made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Emilio Beila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Marcones. Club Coghlan Anarquia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Beila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Elvio Xacintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Aimar's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Elvio Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Aimar in the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Tulio during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Goizeder hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Tucuman's Agustin Gamus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Godfredo Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Agustin Gamus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Marcones was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1.
