Ruperto Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Pirmin in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Pompeya's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Blanco came free, but Albano Rozarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Ulia's Celso Frantzes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Rozarius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 24th minute, Esteban Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pompeya's zone, Aureliano Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Rozarius came out of the goal and Aureliano Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ruperto Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Pirmin in the 32nd minute of play forced Ulia's goalkeeper Ruperto Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Marcial Peruxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pompeya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulia the free kick. The supporters of Ulia booed when Pompeya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
