The referee ignored Clan FC's protests and gave Isaias Palben a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Palben kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match, Esteban Blanco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Lertxun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Marcelino Illart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Lertxun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Isaias Palben kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Bernardo Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Illart in the 18th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Joaquin Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Clan FC's zone, Marcelino Illart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Lertxun came out of the goal and Marcelino Illart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Marcelino Illart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Illart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Esteban Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ulia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Blanco couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Illart in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Clan FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Isaias Palben hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelino Illart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Marcelino Illart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clan FC's Bernardo Lertxun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Clan FC's Isaias Palben got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Joaquin Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Honorio Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Lertxun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Illart's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Joaquin Lando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ruperto Lekubegi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Celso Frantzes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clan FC the free kick. The supporters of Clan FC booed when Ulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clan FC's Julio Velasco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ruperto Lekubegi but with some difficulty. After 85 minutes, Marcelino Illart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulia and the Clan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Ulia got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Illart. Honorio Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Lekubegi having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Ulia got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Guerau. 94 minutes into the match, Julio Velasco sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ruperto Lekubegi threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Julio Velasco this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Blanco in the 95th minute of play forced Clan FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clan FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ulia.
