Pompeya were furious when Lino Urbasa was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Pompeya getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Lino Urbasa hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Jaime Gaztea notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of chapita fubol clab's Benito Garaona. Benito Garaona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaime Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Benito Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Rozarius was a little too slow when Enrique Ixidor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. Albano Rozarius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iker Urtun went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pompeya booed when chapita fubol clab was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Rozarius was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Enrique Ixidor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Ixidor really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Ermegildo Pirmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Gaztea in the 38th minute of play forced chapita fubol clab's goalkeeper Benito Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Rozarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Chaime in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Ixidor in the 46th minute of play forced Pompeya's goalkeeper Albano Rozarius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Pirmin in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Ixidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Enrique Ixidor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Rozarius. Pompeya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Ixidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 59th minute Enrique Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albano Rozarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Haroldo Chaime made a precise shot to the right of Albano Rozarius. Pompeya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. chapita fubol clab's Benito Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Pirmin in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Iker Urtun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Pompeya defense, Iker Urtun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Rozarius. The Pompeya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Rozarius should have stopped the shot. Ermegildo Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Benito Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Pirmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, chapita fubol clab's Eustaquio Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Albano Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ixidor in the 91st minute of play.
