The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Divisadero's Feliciano Bastian got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Primitivo Luar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. In the 11th minute, Primitivo Luar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Fc Viatri booed when Divisadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Efrain Mazuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Jurgi having to interfere. Remigio Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Viatri's Natalio Erasto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remigio Abecia. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. 37 minutes into the match, Divisadero's goalkeeper Remigio Abecia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Luar. When Teodoro Vergaray fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divisadero's protests and gave Teodoro Vergaray a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Vergaray hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Remigio Abecia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Luar in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Fc Viatri's Natalio Erasto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Mazuste in the 45th minute of play forced Fc Viatri's goalkeeper Maximo Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Mazuste struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Maximo Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divisadero. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Abajas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Teodoro Vergaray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55thth minute of the game Natalio Erasto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Divisadero's Remigio Abecia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Abecia having to interfere. Efrain Mazuste's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Maximo Jurgi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Primitivo Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Remigio Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Divisadero's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Erasto came free, but Remigio Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Efrain Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Adolfo Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Primitivo Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Viatri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Luar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
