Jacinto Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Mark in the 16th minute of play forced Duraznito FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Mark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arsenio Godoy was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Saul Sasoin charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Galoer couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Monico charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Monico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Duraznito FC booed when Chimbas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chimbas AFC's Gualterio Monico got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Gualterio Monico off the ground. A collision led to Chimbas AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gualterio Monico hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chimbas AFC's zone, Aquiles Galoer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Orlin came out of the goal and Aquiles Galoer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Filiberto Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the game, Esteve Medina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chimbas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duraznito FC the free kick. 53 minutes into the game, one of Chimbas AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chimbas AFC:s Oscar Orlin showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Alfonso:s penalty. 55 minutes into the match, Felipe Alfonso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chimbas AFC's Oscar Orlin. Oscar Orlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Filiberto Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chimbas AFC! The goalkeeper, Oscar Orlin, was totally fooled by Duraznito FC's Felipe Alfonso, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Oscar Orlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Oto in the 75th minute of the match. Aquiles Galoer might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Orlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Galoer ran back to his position shaking his head. Chimbas AFC's Oscar Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Oto in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Berbiz during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Chimbas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Berbiz. Chimbas AFC's Oscar Orlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Chimbas AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Mark during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
