The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21stth minute of the game Romeo Felipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Choto FC's Ariel Napier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Gaston Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Choto FC and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Choto FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gaston Godoy hit a great ball. Gaston Godoy hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ariel Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Felipo in the 71st minute of the match. Independiente's Primitivo Gagriel got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Napier having to interfere. The supporters of Independiente booed when Choto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Abelardo Tadzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Eladio. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Tadzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Nestor Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Primitivo Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Napier having to interfere. During the 93rd minute of the match Gaston Godoy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gaston Godoy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Choto FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gaston Godoy hit a great ball. Choto FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
