Hernan Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Oscar Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Choya AFC's Anacleto Iraunkor got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejandro Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Mark in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Anacleto Iraunkor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chimbas AFC's Oscar Orlin. Oscar Orlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the match, Hernan Bertran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Orlin. Chimbas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Bertran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Filiberto Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimbas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Berbiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Choya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Urtun to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th play minute Filiberto Berbiz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alejandro Mambru. 1-2. Gualterio Monico hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Choya AFC's Anacleto Iraunkor got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Saul Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chimbas AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Justo Romildo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Mark was the one to do the kick off. Choya AFC's Hernan Bertran got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Igor Anaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chimbas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Choya AFC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Chimbas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Anaya. After 59 played minutes Choya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Bertran. The supporters of Choya AFC booed when Chimbas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hernan Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chimbas AFC's zone, Hernan Bertran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Orlin came out of the goal and Hernan Bertran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Hernan Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Choya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Bertran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Orlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Orlin having to interfere. Alejandro Mambru came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chimbas AFC's Joel Mark. But to his dismay, Joel Mark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 85th minute Filiberto Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Argider during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Choya AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Isaac Argider hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Filiberto Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Berbiz took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Mambru. Alejandro Mambru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Choya AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chimbas AFC.
