The Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Independiente's Romeo Felipo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romeo Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Primitivo Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Choya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Cordaryal. Primitivo Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Argider during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Independiente booed when Choya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Argider didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Felipo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Mambru saved Choya AFC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Anacleto Iraunkor sped through Independiente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Eladio. After 23 minutes, Romeo Felipo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Choya AFC's Alejandro Mambru tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Gagriel might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Gagriel ran back to his position shaking his head. When Anacleto Iraunkor came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Choya AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Iraunkor couldn't finish the play. Dante Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Iraunkor in the 33rd minute of the match. Alejandro Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Gagriel in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Hernan Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dante Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primitivo Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Mambru having to interfere. The Choya AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independiente were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Iraunkor in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Romeo Felipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Choya AFC's Alejandro Mambru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Gagriel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alejandro Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Anacleto Iraunkor notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Independiente's Dante Eladio. Dante Eladio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th match minute, Choya AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Argider to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Eladio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Romeo Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Choya AFC's Alejandro Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Choya AFC from getting a goal against them.
