Primitivo Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Truylos came free, but Dante Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Byens Hold getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jairo Monte hit a great ball. Independiente's Godofredo Librado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedro Jacindo but with some difficulty. Byens Hold's Pedro Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Felipo in the 32nd minute of play. If Primitivo Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Romeo Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Felipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Felipo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Jacindo saved Byens Hold from getting behind. Godofredo Librado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Jacindo. Byens Hold's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Primitivo Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute of the match Godofredo Librado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Jacindo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Primitivo Gagriel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match Jairo Monte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Eladio skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Honesto got free with Dante Eladio in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Independiente's Dionisio Macario got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Independiente's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
