After some careless play in the Maximus AFC defense, Carlos Rocio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Vito. The Maximus AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Vito should have stopped the shot. Arturo Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcelino Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Hanni having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelino Cefero was the one to do the kick off. If Carlos Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Diegotxe in the 56th minute of play. Prudencio Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Vito having to interfere. When Marciano Nisio fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvariño's protests and gave Marciano Nisio a yellow card for diving instead. When Carlos Rocio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Alvariño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Rocio couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Severo Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Alvariño getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sebastian Diegotxe hit a great ball. When Pascual Felipillo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Maximus AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Felipillo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Diegotxe in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Vito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Maximus AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Diegotxe came free, but Herminio Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Maximus AFC's zone, Sebastian Diegotxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Vito came out of the goal and Sebastian Diegotxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Rocio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Vito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Herminio Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Rocio in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Sebastian Diegotxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
