In the 48th minute, one of Nacimiento:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nacimiento. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Dodorol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nacimiento's German Intxixu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Raymond in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacimiento's goalkeeper German Intxixu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, La Banda del Ate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bonifacio Dodorol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Bonifacio Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacimiento's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Euloxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marco Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. When the match was over Nacimiento could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Banda del Ate throughout the match.
