After a defensive mix-up in MAX POWER Mato Champ's zone, Santiago Eutor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Marques came out of the goal and Santiago Eutor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MAX POWER Mato Champ's Alberto Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeronimo Musko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Hulberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Andres Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Eutropio in the 29th minute of the match. Santiago Eutor struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Danilo Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolitas re Grosso. 36 minutes into the match, Santiago Eutor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Marques. MAX POWER Mato Champ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Eutor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jeronimo Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Andres Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Maurin during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Maurin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Juan Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Eutropio made a kick off. Jeronimo Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Leonel Lorenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolitas re Grosso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAX POWER Mato Champ the free kick. The supporters of MAX POWER Mato Champ booed when Bolitas re Grosso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Hulberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Bolitas re Grosso getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Amado Inge hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Alberto Eutropio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amado Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Bolitas re Grosso's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Eutropio came free, but Andres Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eduardo Ado fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolitas re Grosso's protests and gave Eduardo Ado a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes Bolitas re Grosso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Silbestre who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Alberto Eutropio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Hulberto was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bolitas re Grosso eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
