The referee ignored MAX POWER Mato Champ's protests and gave Romulo Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zoesofi booed when MAX POWER Mato Champ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Gonzalo Rumaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zoesofi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Rumaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes, Astor Grabiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAX POWER Mato Champ and the Zoesofi players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, MAX POWER Mato Champ's goalkeeper Danilo Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Ekain. In the 16th minute, Florentino Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19thth minute of the game Gonzalo Rumaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAX POWER Mato Champ's Danilo Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ermegildo Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Eutropio in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Bitxintxo saved Zoesofi from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Alberto Eutropio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAX POWER Mato Champ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Danilo Marques came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Zoesofi's Gonzalo Rumaldo. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Rumaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Zoesofi's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Musko came free, but Rene Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Ekain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danilo Marques came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermegildo Ekain slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 43rd minute. Maximino Pacorro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Eutropio made a kick off. Ermegildo Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Grabiel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ermegildo Ekain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Marques was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Jeronimo Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Bitxintxo having to interfere.
