Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Stanislao kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Defensores de Alberdi's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Stanislao came free, but Higinio Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Club A. Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Celedonio Rutenio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Alberdi's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Rutenio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Botello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Bilbo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Botello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornelio Botello came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Alberdi's Abel Hegoi. But to his dismay, Abel Hegoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores de Alberdi's goalkeeper Higinio Aureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Abel Hegoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Botello. Club A. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Hegoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Igor Erramun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Higinio Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club A. Boca Juniors! Victorino Paublo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Higinio Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Stanislao in the 39th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Club A. Boca Juniors's Higinio Aureo threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Stanislao, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Defensores de Alberdi getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Abel Hegoi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Boca Juniors's zone, Abel Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Botello came out of the goal and Abel Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Frascuelo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club A. Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Silvestre Frascuelo hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Defensores de Alberdi were awarded a corner. Victorino Paublo went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Angel Bilbo made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eduardo Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Bilbo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Botello saved Club A. Boca Juniors from getting behind. Defensores de Alberdi's Ceferino Todor got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Paublo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Cornelio Botello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 78 minutes Club A. Boca Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorino Paublo who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Bilbo in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Botello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Hegoi struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Cornelio Botello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Alberdi. In the 90th minute, Defensores de Alberdi's Abel Hegoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Defensores de Alberdi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
