After 15 minutes, Teo Jerardo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alcázar FC's Arsenio Sustrai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenio Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Arce in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Huanguelén got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Arce. Alcázar FC's Rigoberto Chucho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Jerardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Sustrai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Efraim was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rigoberto Chucho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Teo Jerardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arsenio Sustrai. Teo Jerardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Hugo Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Chucho in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Teo Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes in the game, Jacinto Efraim dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Jacinto Efraim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Urre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Higinio Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Sidoro's late challenge caught a Huanguelén's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Sidoro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Alcázar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Teo Jerardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arsenio Sustrai. Teo Jerardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 93rd minute of the match, Julian Bartoleme got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arsenio Sustrai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julian Bartoleme struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Arsenio Sustrai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huanguelén. If Teo Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
