The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Apuyaco! After 11 minutes of play, Rustico FC's Modesto Mikelats made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Lertxun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixto Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Mikelats in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Apuyaco got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Iigo. In the 16th minute, Erubiel Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Dalmacio Dunixi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rustico FC's Godfredo Maldonado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sixto Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Eguen in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Rustico FC's Modesto Mikelats nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Sixto Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Bembe in the 25th minute of play. Edgard Frutos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Bembe to make the kick off.
