When Evelio Gagriel came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Tristeza Nao Tem Fim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Gagriel couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Rogelio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Kauldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Belasko made a huge save. Rogelio Remir scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Belasko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Ezequiel Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Honrio in the 34th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, one of Tristeza Nao Tem Fim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Remir was the one to do the kick off. If Rogelio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Paulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atletico Banfield's Osvaldo Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Remir in the 57th minute of play. Delmiro Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Ezequiel Lain got control of the ball when Jairo Gartxot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Evelio Gagriel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramiro Felipillo in the 67 minute of the game. Rogelio Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Osvaldo Belasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Banfield's Eusebio Dominguez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Osvaldo Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Rogelio Remir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Banfield's Osvaldo Belasko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute Arsenio Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Banfield's zone, Rogelio Remir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Belasko came out of the goal and Rogelio Remir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Rogelio Remir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Belasko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prospero Gonsalvo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Belasko. Osvaldo Belasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Tristeza Nao Tem Fim were the better team. Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
