Uriel Abascal ran back to his position shaking his head. Uriel Abascal scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Chesus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Relmo's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Jaume came free, but Niceto Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Furman's late challenge caught a Relmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Jaume in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Relmo's Uriel Abascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Chesus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 48 minutes into the match, Uriel Abascal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Chesus. Naranjito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Jaume made a kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Celestino Bide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Relmo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naranjito FC the free kick. A collision led to Relmo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Celestino Bide hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Cornelio Noe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Elizardo skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Manuel Jaume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Jaume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Jaume, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Milian in the 75th minute of play forced Naranjito FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Milian got free with Bernardo Chesus in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Relmo's Uriel Abascal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Chesus. That made the score 0-7 after 84 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Naranjito FC's zone, Arsenio Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Chesus came out of the goal and Arsenio Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Relmo's Arsenio Milian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Chesus. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play.
