Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogelio Nabar started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Rogelio Nabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southern Oilers Athletic's Constantino Tano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fulgencio Loreto fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Miami's protests and gave Fulgencio Loreto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Fulgencio Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fulgencio Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Fiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Constantino Tano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Leonardo Telo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southern Oilers Athletic and the FC Miami players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Southern Oilers Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Telo. 36 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Loreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Constantino Tano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogelio Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Nabar in the 47th minute of play forced Southern Oilers Athletic's goalkeeper Constantino Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Dalmu made a kick off. Rogelio Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Miami's Rogelio Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Nabar in the 58th minute of the match. Rogelio Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Hilario Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Sarracino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emanuel Nataniel fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Southern Oilers Athletic's protests and gave Emanuel Nataniel a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Emanuel Nataniel hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. FC Miami's attack was well implemented in the 70th minute, but when Rogelio Nabar was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Fulgencio Loreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Tano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Rogelio Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Constantino Tano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Tano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylvain De Meur in the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Southern Oilers Athletic's goalkeeper Constantino Tano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Sylvain De Meur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 0-3 became the score in the 94th minute when Sylvain De Meur elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. FC Miami played a much better game than Southern Oilers Athletic and deserved their victory. The Southern Oilers Athletic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
