The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Naranjito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hucal:s goal. David Guerau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naranjito FC's Bernardo Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Quexal in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, David Guerau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Chesus having to interfere. Hucal's Cornelio Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Hucal from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute of the match Sebastian Fidencio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Chesus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernardo Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Quexal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Guerau in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Chesus saved Naranjito FC from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Arnulfo Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Naranjito FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hucal were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Tino to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Celso Quexal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hucal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Quexal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, David Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hucal's supporters rose to their feet, but David Guerau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Chesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Celso Quexal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Chesus was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Baldomiro Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hucal's Cornelio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Tino in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Hucal's David Guerau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Chesus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Arnulfo Tino struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cornelio Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito FC. Roberto Maldonado's late challenge caught a Hucal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Maldonado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hucal booed when Naranjito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, David Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hucal's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Guerau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Guerau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Chesus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Arnulfo Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naranjito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cristian Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Guerau struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Bernardo Chesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hucal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
